Chaney Cares, the philanthropic arm of Chaney Enterprises, is thrilled to announce their plans to spearhead a brand-new Boys & Girls Club in Lothian, Maryland! This exciting project is made possible through a partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Annapolis & Anne Arundel County (BGCAA) and is set to bring a safe and inspiring space to young people in South County.

The new Club will be located across from Southern Middle School and Lothian Elementary School, providing a convenient and accessible location for youth. The Club’s design is inspired by its’ Southern Maryland roots, with a show-stopping barn-styled exterior. The incredible 11,000 square foot space, designed by Bignell Watkins Hasser Architects, PC, will feature multipurpose classrooms, a tech center, a teen center, and even a learning garden.

The new Lothian Club is so much more than just a pretty building; it’s a community center that supports and empowers young people to reach their full potential. The goal is to create a hub that serves as a meeting place for local youth, families, sports teams, and community organizations.

The new Club will be managed by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Annapolis & Anne Arundel County, which is led by an experienced team of professionals dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of young people. This Club will be the eighth managed by BGCAA, joining seven other locations in the area.

To bring their vision to life, Chaney Cares has launched a capital fundraising campaign with plenty of ways to get involved. From naming opportunities to smaller contributions and volunteering, every bit counts.
