News - Chaney Cares Raises Six Figures at Annual Bull Roast Event to Benefit Local Non-Profit Partners

Chaney Cares is proud to announce the success of its Annual Bull Roast, held on October 19, 2024, at Chaney Enterprises’ Waldorf, MD Concrete Plant. With over 1,000 tickets sold and 88 corporate sponsors, the event raised six figures to support Chaney Cares' non-profit partners: Habitat for Humanity, Boys & Girls Clubs, Raising a Reader, and Farming 4 Hunger. All proceeds from the Bull Roast will directly fund the organization’s 2024 grant programs, benefiting local communities.

The Bull Roast took place on a picture-perfect fall day, drawing families, friends, and supporters for a day full of fun and philanthropy. The event featured a wide range of activities, including a silent auction, bounce houses, face painting, live music from John Luskey, and unique attractions like build-a-bull, pumpkin chuckin, and axe throwing. Attendees also enjoyed a variety of food and drinks, including pit-roasted ribs and BBQ, donuts from Sandy Pony Donuts, oysters from Thompson’s Seafood, and beer and wine.
