Chaney Enterprises is thrilled to announce the remarkable success of its 44th Annual Bull Roast, held on Saturday, October 14, at their Waldorf, MD facility.
Despite the rainy weather, the event attracted over 330 attendees and raised nearly $100,000 to support Chaney Cares’ non-profit partners: The Boys and Girls Club, Farming 4 Hunger, Habitat for Humanity, and Raising A Reader.
The annual fundraiser, known for its legendary pit-roasted ribs and wide range of entertainment, offered a fun-filled experience for attendees of all ages. The event featured delicious BBQ and homestyle sides from Mission BBQ, freshly shucked oysters from Thompson Seafood, and tasty dessert from Sandy Pony Donuts.
In addition to the enjoyable food, attendees were entertained with live music by John Luskey and had the opportunity to try their luck at the casino tables and silent auction. The family-friendly event boasted a petting zoo, a bounce house, in-line extreme air, face painting, airbrush tattoos, a giant play sand pile, pumpkin bowling, and much more. Each child who attended the Bull Roast went home with a backpack from Raising A Reader that contained construction-themed books, a reading journal, and more.
"We are incredibly grateful to our sponsors, ticketholders, and volunteers for their unwavering support in making this event possible," said Francis “Hall” Chaney, III, CEO of Chaney Enterprises. "Despite the challenging weather conditions, our community came together to raise nearly $100,000 to support our valued non-profit partners. This generosity will have a profound impact on the programs and initiatives championed by The Boys and Girls Club, Farming 4 Hunger, Habitat for Humanity, and Raising A Reader."
Chaney Enterprises is proud to be a part of a community that rallies behind the causes that matter most. This annual tradition of the Bull Roast not only serves as a testament to the company's commitment to giving back, but also showcases the incredible strength of unity within the community.
