David Williams, concrete operations and fleet maintenance manager for Chaney Enterprises, recently completed the National Ready Mix Concrete Association’s concrete professional certification program. He is the fourth member of the Chaney Enterprises team to be certified by NRMCA.
The primary goal of the certification program is to provide ready mixed concrete operational employees with a comprehensive educational opportunity that enables them to establish productive careers in the industry, according to the NRMCA website. To achieve the certification, participants must complete the 120-hour program requirements. Williams is among 50 concrete professionals to be certified nationally since the program’s inception in 2007, according to NRMCA Vice President of Education, Eileen Dickson.
Williams, concrete operations and fleet manager for Chaney Enterprises, has been with the company since 1988. He joins Chaney Enterprises team members, Tom Fisher, concrete delivery professional assigned to the Hollywood plant, and Marketing Manager Steve Tripp, who are NRMCA certified concrete professionals.
“Dave is a great example to all of our Chaney team members. His determination and focus on the job is equally reflected in accomplishing this NRMCA certification, and we are very proud of him,” said Hall Chaney, chief operations officer for Chaney Enterprises.
