News - ABC Chesapeake Honors Sherry Santana with Volunteer of the Year Award
The Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) recognized Sherry Santana, community relations specialist for Chaney Enterprises, as an ABC Chesapeake Chapter Volunteer of the Year during its annual Excellence in Construction and Safety Awards this fall.
To be recognized for this annual award, ABC Chesapeake Chapter notes outstanding members who regularly go above and beyond to support the chapter, and make it the best it can be, according to the Chapter’s award criteria. Santana was noted for her actively supporting and assisting the Chapter with its Southern Maryland Committee. She was also recognized as a huge proponent of industry safety and education.
“Chaney Enterprises has always had a commitment to the communities and industry we serve, but that commitment is only as good as the people delivering it. Sherry is a key to that and we’re proud to have her recognized for all the hard work she does,” said Steven Tripp, Chaney Enterprises’ marketing manager.
Santana joined Chaney Enterprises in 2007, and took on the position of community relations specialist since 2008.
