News - Bishopville Concrete Plant Now Open
Our local, family-owned and operated company, has now opened a new concrete plant in Bishopville, Maryland that will serve new and existing customers on the Eastern Shore. Our expanded service area includes Ocean City, Ocean Pines and Berlin in Maryland; and Rehoboth Beach, Fenwick Island and Selbyville in Delaware.
The Bishopville plant, located at 11935 Worcester Highway, offers traditional ready-mix concrete as well as newer products we have established a national reputation for producing, including pervious and roller-compacted concrete. The plant plans to employ 10 local residents, with plans to add more as the business grows.
Other ready-mix concrete plants on the Eastern Shore include Seaford, Del. and Salisbury, Cambridge and Queenstown in Maryland.

Most recently, Chaney Enterprises was once again recognized with the NRMCA Excellence in Quality Awards sponsored by the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association. Chaney is one of only 10 concrete producers nationwide producing 250,000 to 1 million cubic yards of concrete annually to receive the prestigious award in 2015, and one of only two companies in the entire Washington, D.C./Baltimore/Virginia region to earn the recognition.
Chaney is also one of only two producers in the U.S. named to the list of NRMCA “Certified Quality Producers and Plants,” meeting standards that are among the most stringent of any certification program in the world.
