Revitalizing the ball fields as part of the William Beanes Community Center’s Expansion is a key finishing touch to their two-year project.
The expansion consists of a 9,100 square foot addition that will house a senior lounge, fitness room, game room, and a multipurpose room that will open into an outdoor patio. Outdoor improvements consist of a new community garden, new basketball hoops, an exercise trail, new parking lot lighting, and ball field renovations.
Chaney Enterprises poured all the site concrete and masonry work, but also supplied 30 loads of Prince George’s county specified Ball Field mix for the field renovations. Ball Field mix is one of the many custom soils and specialty blends we offer.
We were fortunate to work with Sandy Excavating as the site contractor for the job and Dennis Anderson as the general contractor. Sandy Excavating selected Chaney Enterprises as a partner for this rewarding project as they appreciate the quality service and products we deliver.
“Sandy Excavating has been a loyal customer for several years and we look forward to working with them on many other gratifying projects such as this one that directly benefits the community,” says Tom Harris, Sales & Business Representative for Chaney Enterprises.
