About the Position:
Responsible for weighing loaded trucks and taking walk-in and FOB customer orders.
Key Responsibilities:
Weigh trucks on scale, enter weight into computer, generate paper ticket or send electronically.
Assist delivery professionals with routes.
Assist walk-in customers with orders, generate tickets and coordinate delivery. Take phone orders as needed.
Work closely with dispatchers to provide price information to customers as required. Act as a back-up to dispatchers as needed.
Complete cash deposits and COD sales reports. Forward completed documents and cash to the Billing department or appropriate office. Prepare end of month reports.
Coordinate and dispatch Pit trucks.
Other duties as assigned.
